About Our Instructor Training Course

The Instructor in Training course at Austin Kade Academy offers a path for those eager to bridge their love for cosmetology with the art of teaching. Upon enrollment, our Instructor in Training students shadow our experienced instructors, gaining invaluable insights and practical experience.

During your time as an instructor in training, you’ll be given the opportunity to shadow experienced instructors, gaining hands-on experiences and honing in your teaching skills. We feel that the best way to learn is by doing.

Throughout the program, students prepare for chapter tests, as well as practical and written final exams, to help ensure they are fully prepared for their future role as beauty educators. Our mission with our instructor in the training program is to empower individuals to make a meaningful impact on the next generation of beauty professionals.

The Learning Process

The Teacher Instruction program at Austin Kade Academy is designed to transform experienced cosmetologists into skilled educators. Throughout this program, students have the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a real teacher environment, this allows you to take what you learned in beauty school and teach those who were once in the same shoes as you. This dynamic learning approach allows students to observe and participate in classroom settings, which can equip them with the confidence and expertise needed to instruct the next generation of beauty professionals. At Austin Kade Academy, we believe that the art of teaching is just as important as the artistry of cosmetology, and our Teacher Instruction program is dedicated to ensuring our students excel in both realms.

Start Your Teacher Education

Are you ready to get started with our instructor in the training program? Learn valuable skills that can help you inspire the next generation of beauty professionals. Before you can apply, you must meet the following requirements:

  • An accepted ID (birth certificate, passport, military ID, driver’s license, etc.).
  • High school diploma or an equivalent.
  • To be at least 16.5 years of age.
